Job Hunt HQ · Effective July 2, 2026
Job Hunt HQ collects nothing. It has no servers of ours, no accounts, no telemetry, no analytics, and no tracking of any kind. There is nothing for us to collect, sell, or lose.
Everything the plugin creates or manages — your job tracker, job thesis, resume, cover letters, and application history — is stored as plain files in a folder on your own computer, chosen by you. The tracker app is served by a small program that runs only on your machine and accepts connections only from your machine (localhost). Nothing is transmitted to the plugin's author or to any third party by this software.
Some skills read external services on your behalf — searching job boards, or scanning your email for application replies. These actions run inside your own Claude session using connectors you have connected and authorized, under your control, and their results are written only to your local folder. The plugin's author never sees any of it. The plugin never sends email, submits applications, or posts your information anywhere.
Your use of Claude is governed by Anthropic's privacy policy. Job boards and company career sites you visit through links in the tracker have their own privacy policies. This page is hosted on GitHub Pages, which is subject to GitHub's privacy statement.
If this policy ever changes, the change will be visible in the project's public repository history.
